A family business run by Andres Basurto
Palms Living Oasis is based at 300 Syracuse Pl in Richardson, Texas, and it is owned and run by Andres Basurto. It is a family business, which in practice means the person who comes out to measure your yard is connected to the people who build it, and the company's name is on the result either way. The work goes back to 2008, and it has always been the same thing: outdoor spaces for homes and for businesses across the Dallas metro. If you want to talk about a project, get in touch here.
What a turnkey outdoor experience means here
The company describes what it does as a turnkey outdoor experience that is nothing short of perfection, and behind the phrase is a simple operating rule: one company takes the yard from the first drawing to the last brush pass. Design, groundwork, drainage, stone, paving and turf all come from the same crew, so nothing falls between trades and there is no argument about whose part of the job the problem belongs to. As the owner puts it, we take pride in our work from design to installation, and believe the results speak for themselves.
Where Palms works
Richardson sits right where Dallas County meets Collin County, with US 75 and the President George Bush Turnpike running through it, which makes it a good place to work from. Plano, Garland, Allen, Frisco and McKinney are a short run north and east. Dallas, Highland Park, University Park, Irving and Southlake are a short run south and west. Those are the towns we cover, and you can see each of them on our service areas page.
Homes and businesses, both
Roughly half of what we build is for families and half is for property that has to look right every working day: restaurant patios, apartment and townhome courtyards, offices, clubs and event space. The specification changes between them, because a commercial surface takes far more traffic and needs a denser build, but the crew and the standard do not. If it is outdoor space and it has to hold up in a North Texas summer, it is our kind of job.
What we will and will not promise you
We will tell you what your yard actually needs, including when the honest answer is a smaller job than the one you called about, or when a lawn problem is really a drainage problem. We will give you one clear number before any work starts and we will not start until you have it. What we will not do is quote a price before we have seen the ground, promise a result we have not built, or sell you a surface laid over a problem. That is the whole of it.
